Why Wool Dryer Balls Work
Wool dryer balls work by gently lifting and separating laundry as it tumbles in the dryer. This allows warm air to circulate more freely through the fabrics, helping clothes dry more evenly and often more quickly.
Unlike disposable dryer sheets or liquid fabric softeners, wool dryer balls are completely natural. They soften fabrics mechanically rather than coating them in chemicals, leaving clothes feeling fresh, breathable and comfortable against the skin.
Because they are made from densely felted wool, the balls also help reduce static and prevent laundry from clumping together during the drying cycle. Towels stay fluffy, bedding dries more evenly and everyday clothing comes out soft without synthetic additives.
Using wool dryer balls is also one of the simplest ways to reduce waste in your laundry routine. A single set can be used for hundreds of drying cycles, replacing many boxes of disposable dryer sheets
Why we use British wool
Britain produces thousands of tonnes of wool each year, yet much of it is undervalued. At Little Beau Sheep we believe this remarkable natural fibre deserves a place in modern homes again.
