I am absolutely thrilled to have found out this week that I have been shortlisted as a Regional Finalist in the Best Start-Up category of The Rural Business Awards in partnership with Amazon.
Anna Price, Joint-Founder of the Rural Business Awards, says:
“Congratulations to Little Beau Sheep for being shortlisted in our North Region, where competition was certainly very stiff! We pride ourselves in being able to showcase the very best of British rural businesses and for giving them the opportunity to shout about their products, talents and achievements. We were particularly impressed with Little Beau Sheep’s environmental ethos, its dedication to its local community and, of course, its lovely handmade cleaning products, created from British wool; and we wish them the best of luck in the Regional Finals later this year.”
Regional finals will be held at a ‘glittering ceremony’ on October 9 at the Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa in Bolton and I am really looking forward to getting dressed up and meeting the other finalists.
I was invited on Richard Stead breakfast this week on BBC Radio Leeds to talk about the awards. Good luck to the other #Yorkshire business’ nominated: Farmer Copleys for Best Rural Business Harrison Spinks for Best Rural Manufacturing Business. You can listen to it here about 50mins in after UB40
